Many Russian companies offer for sale the "completely natural" trilobites that really are the plastic copies of trilobites or specimens with huge volume of non-notified reconstruction. It's completely impossible to recognize modern polymeric materials using in the restoration - their thermal properties are similar with limestone, and the compositions include the components prevented the luminescence. Only good craftsmen can distinguish the plastic from natural stone.
Moreover, some recently founded companies worked on trilobite market, have not any licenses and permissions for excavation and export of paleontological material. By this activity they break the lows "About natural resources" and "About export of the cultural treasures" of Russian Federation.
