How to order from us

1. Add the items you want to your cart. At the checkout page, you will be able to reserve the items. We will contact you shortly for further details and discuss the next steps. Alternatively, you can send us the codes of the items you want using the contact form.

2. We will review your order and contact you to discuss applicable discounts, shipping options, and payment methods available to you.

3. Once we confirm your order, you will be able to proceed with payment.

4. Once we receive your payment, we will send the items you ordered via your preferred shipping method.

Payment

We accept PayPal and bank transfers from US bank accounts as forms of payment. You will be provided with payment details to match your preferred payment method.

Item location

Most of our items are stored in warehouses in Finland and Estonia. The rest are stored at mineral and fossil trade fairs in the US and Japan or are currently on their way there.

Shipping

Delivery of parcels exceeding 30 kg is handled by shipping companies by sea, air, or land. Usually, we arrange deliveries to be made to international airports or cargo terminals located in the customer’s country. Please note that any possible customs formalities are to be handled by the customer. Door-to-door delivery, including customs clearance, is available for residents of some countries, such as the US and EU countries.

Parcels under 30 kg are shipped through Priority Mail International service with tracking information provided.

Customs formalities

We can prepare an invoice required for import customs clearance upon request.

Most of our shipments are from warehouses located in Finland and Estonia. Therefore, no customs clearance procedures are required for EU customers. Normally, no invoices or other supporting documents are required for deliveries to the US, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. 

Chinese customs authorities, on the other hand, often require an invoice, which we will be happy to provide.

Shipping costs

Shipping charges depend on the weight and size of the parcel, as well as your shipment address. Once we receive your order, we will provide you with the shipping cost.

For example, delivery of a 2 kg parcel from a warehouse in Estonia by postal service will cost:

  • $30 for EU countries
  • $41 for the US and Canada
  • $45 for Asian and South American countries

Shipping Insurance​

Unfortunately, in rare cases, a package can go missing or get damaged in transit. We take pride in our ability to pack items and get them to their destination intact. Still, some circumstances are beyond our control.

In case the shipment is broken or missing during delivery, the following options are possible:

  • Refund of the total cost of the order
  • Replacement of an item with another from a similar or higher category

In any case, we ask the customer to send the broken item back at our expense.

Return Policy​

We offer a 30-day return policy (from the date of purchase) on all items that we sell. Items may be returned for any reason, however, we CANNOT refund shipping costs or Paypal transaction fees UNLESS the return is being made due to a mistake. Refunds are issued when the returned item has been received.

The 30-day return policy is provided in addition to our authenticity guarantee. However, it does not apply to damaged items.

Order Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel an order you have placed with us prior to shipping, please contact us. We will issue a refund via the same payment method you used to place the order. If you have any questions about shipping or return policies, please feel free to reach out to us.
